What would you do if an old man came up to you and told you that you were going to have a series of unfortunate events, and the following day you fell in a man hole, got chased by dogs, got slapped by an old lady, dog chased you, and some one broke into your house?!
In the evening, I'd pour me a Cuba Libre and I would tell myself: "Good thing that nice old fellow wasn't right after all! Just business as usual (except for the break-in.)"
